CALL FOR ARTISTS:

A new "street venue" / Second Saturday outdoor display space is taking submissions for FREE display space. 

Coming in July, Zanzibar Tribal Art Gallery in conjunction with Phoenix Gallery, Galleria Tempest, Blooming Art, Wildflower & the Bead Fetish will be offering local artists the opportunity to display their works of art FREE OF CHARGE in a funky, fun, outdoor setting (grass) with lighted tents near the corner of 18th & L Streets.  Artists, Crafters, Jewelry makers, musicians, street artists, magicians, everyone is welcome to apply.  Limited space and availability.

THIS WILL BE A JURIED / PRE-APPROVED SPACE

In other words, don't just show up.  Anyone just showing up will not be allowed to display their artworks:  You must contact us and submit what you plan to exhibit and you must be approved first. 

All interested parties should contact Scott Farrell at Zanzibar at (916) 443-5601 between 11am & 6pm, Tuesday - Saturdays (best 3pm-5pm).  You will have to submit samples of your works and await final approval.  You must provide tables/chairs and any other displays for your artwork.   DO NOT CALL BEFORE JUNE 12th!  THANK YOU!

We welcome all types of art, amateur and professional alike.  Space ALWAYS available for High school and College art students.  Please note, we will not be offering spaces to artists who may compete with one of the above galleries/businesses.
